Where once there were words,
There is now only cuisine.
Where once posts abounded,
Now silence is supreme.
Why did the husband
Love his wife in this way?
Why in the kitchen
Does the wife always play?
If I lived closer,
And could taste all this cooking,
Perhaps I wouldn’t resent
All the cookbook looking!
Cuisinart, you are so enticing,
But you have taken my friend,
Until she tires of you,
My misery will not end.
Even without her,
I will be strong!
Though my blog will be lonely,
Hopefully, not for long!

Tee, hee, hee! Good, clean, cheesy, fun! I love you, Jo!
ROFL!!! we're trying to buy this house. i'm stressed out. it's so hard to know what God wants of you.
oh my gohs, and everything rhymed! how do you do that?
i mean gosh
did you use a rhyming dictionary? i have one of those. although it's in storage.
if we get this house i'll actually have some book shelves to put my rhyming dictionary on. then maybe i can write you a poem. won't that make you happy?
I didn't use a rhyming dictionary. This is precisely what a BA in English will do for you! And, you know, sometimes the inspiration just comes. This was one of those times. I am such a nerd that once the idea popped into my head, if I hadn't sat down to write it, I wouldn't have been able to think of anything else all day long!
oh my gosh, you are such a nerd!
ROTFL! You're so funny!
So glad to be appreciated even so long after the fact! What are you doing, reading through all the archives?
Yes, I read some of our older stuff yesterday and enjoyed it so much, I started from the very beginning today. You wouldn't think I had six kids I was trying to homeschool, huh.
