Isaac's Room

Whaddaya think?  I wish the rug was bigger but we're trying to not spend a whole bunch of money.  I repurposed that rug from Del's old office in our bedroom.  I'm really happy with the bedding.  Now I just need to come up with some sort of inexpensive widow dressing...that doesn't include me sewing because I'm just not into that right now.  Maybe when my joints are less loose and painful.  I feel like my legs are going to fall off every time I get up.  He'll spend up to a month in our room in the bassinet then be exiled to this room so I can get some sleep; noisy babies.  So I have some time to think about the windows.

I love the room, Joanna! It is so exciting to see it all come together. I found myself really wishing I could come and see you and Isaac after he is born, like I did with Lily. It makes me sad that I cannot figure out a way to make it work.

I'm sorry you're feeling so yucky with the end of pregnancy upon you, too. It must be bad to take away your desire to sew! I'm praying for an extra measure of God's grace for you these next several weeks.

It looks fantastic! The bedding was such a lucky find!

Sorry you're not feeling up to sewing. I remember those loose joints with Ana. It was especially hard getting up in the middle of the night and trying to walk straight into the bathroom :)

Honestly what I did for the girls room was hang up a shower curtain that I found at a garage sale. It isn't a plastic one, but one of those light diffusing ones.... it just gives the illusion of flowers floating.... but it eased the lines of the window blinds and looks pretty. Maybe something like that would work?
