More on Obamacare

I'm really getting into this.

PajamasTV is awesome. I could watch it all day. Today I bring you: Steven Crowder Investigates CanadaCare...Will Obamacare be any better? Don't be freaked out by the man with the knife; it's not what you might think.

Sorry that it's only half on the screen. You can click on the link for the full video. I really don't have the patience to learn HTML code to fix this.

Since I have family living in Canada and in Germany (both socialized countries) I know too many stories like those ones!

You don't need to mess with HTML to get the full video in frame. It is that way because you chose the "large" option on youtube rather than the "smaller" option. I cannot remember of the top of my head what the exact wording is for each of those, but they give you the choice of a couple sizes and you have to choose the smaller one on our blog. For next time, anyway...

Yeah, I chose the smallest one (480x295) I wonder if I could change the numbers even smaller than that. I'd have to figure out the ratio though and that would require me to do...MMMAAAATTTHHHHHHHHHH. AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

That was really interesting! I don't know anyone in Canada or other country that has socialized medicine, so I haven't heard crazy stories like these. I was especially appalled by the lady who said it was easier to get medical care for her dog. That's horrifying.

You know what's sad? Every time I have ever been to an ER, it has been a 5-8 hour wait. No kidding.

I really and truly think the whole system is totally screwed up and we manage everything backwards....

None of it is really efficient. I do think it will only get worse if the government starts running things, though...

That is terrifying. I do agree that we need to do something about our health-care system in America (thinking here we should START with ending frivolous law-suits and run from there) But, government run health care sounds like a terrible option. Are there any government run organizations that do their job well?
That being said. Here in England they have the NHS (National Healthcare System)and although it has some issues sometimes (we were given a 3+ month wait for Katherine's asthma appt shortly after we got here and ended up just paying to go private). In general it runs MUCH better than the Canadian system as portrayed on that video. (of course, they pay for it through the nose in taxes). We have been pretty pleased overall with our health care since living here
It is the thought of my tax money funding abortions that just disgusts me.
