9/12 March

I am so proud of all the people who went to Washington this weekend to protest the spending, Obamacare and whatever else there was to protest. I wish I could have been there. Had we still been living in Maryland we'd have gone.

Barbara lives close enough to take the Metro in and she's got a really fantastic photo-journal that you might enjoy when you have a minute. Click on the picture in the link to see the photos.

I hope the message was sent. I notice it's not really on the news anymore. :(

Wow. I really like the picture of the kid carrying a sign that says, "How much do I owe?"

I cannot believe this didn't have more press. The blatant bias of the media is astounding to me. I don't watch the news anymore because I don't really want my kids seeing all the murder, drugs, sex, and other nasty stuff that is on the news every day. I guess I should try to find a way to stay more informed, though! I didn't even know this was going on!

You know the sad thing is that I never heard about this until I read it here yesterday. I know I am overseas, but they often have news of America and I am surprised they didn't have this.
We didn't even see it in the headlines on the internet.
Even Aaron hadn't heard about it. No one at work has mentioned it.
I tell you though, it gives me hope.
(oh- and Aaron got this shirt for his birthday that reads "I was anti-Obama before it was cool!" it is hilarious!)

I can't stand the media. Stupid Kanye West gets more attention than conservatives, unless they are putting them down!!

I notice most of the coverage of Kanye's disgraceful conduct was more along the lines of "walk softly he is a superstar" Do you know what I mean? No putting him down, just "reporting" it.

Anyhow. Protests are fine things, as long as no one gets hurt. :)

I guess the only way I feel like my mouth isn't clamped shut is by voting against him...

Thank you for linking to that wonderful photo journal. Some of the signs were funny, while others had grave implications, didn't they?

Great link! Thanks for that!
