So here goes. Here it is. My life. Almost in its entirety. Are you sure you're ready, because it is gripping - extremely exciting.
Don't I look excited? What is that look on my face, anyway? The couch and I are becoming very close friends. As my uterus continues to betray me, I am learning how to "slow down." I am thankful that I am still able to do a lot of things. Total bed rest would drive me insane! I have found that water aerobics does not cause contractions. Which is funny to me, since dancing with my three year old does. It must be something about the weightlessness of the water. Whatever it is, I am super thankful because I need some sort of an outlet for my energy.
A couple weeks ago, when I was not permanently bonded to my sofa, my grandmother was here visiting from Germany. We spent as much time with her as possible. Aaron absolutely LOVES his great-grandma. She indulges his insatiable desire for games. I cannot tell you how many times she played Sorry with him in one week! I thought you might enjoy some pictures of us with her. Note the game she is playing with Aaron - that's right, Sorry.

Ok first, you LOOK fabulous! :)
Second, how cool is it that your Grandma is from Germany? Awesome.
Third, I'm sorry you aren't able to be doing much, but it will pass, and you will wish for bedrest, right? LOL
Great pics!! TYFS!
BTW, one of you asked how old my Raechel will be in September? Or what day? She will be 4 on the 23rd. (Waaaaa!) :-p
:)
Yeah, I was asking because my Rachel turns 3 on the 6th. So I thought it was funny that both our Ra(e)chels had birthdays in September.
Oh and I was moaning more about how I hadn't posted lately. I certainly didn't mean to imply that you're a slacker or anything like that. ;)
I'm sorry you aren't able to be very active. Bedrest sounds awful.
How cool! Our Ra(e)chels are nearly exactly a year apart :)
She was due October 1st which is Faithy's birthday, but I was induced early :-p
STOP READING SO MUCH. You're making me look bad.
What else am I supposed to do?? :) Actually, when I heard my computer make that little noise it makes when I got an e-mail (this one being your comment here), you want to know what I was doing? Reading. A new book. Just started it this afternoon!
You know, just because you have four kids, a husband, homeschool, and you are pregnant is no excuse to not crack open a book! :)
Well, you look great. I have done the bed rest thing and I know it's a little nerve wracking. Hang in there.
Hey, uh...you know, you shouldn't let the kids smear mustard all over your walls. It might rot and cause an infestation of some sort of weird mustard bug. I'd probably clean that up if I were you.
That's my mom's kitchen, actually! You could tell her!
Oh my gosh! SSHHHHHH! Don't tell her I said anything! LOL. :)
Looks like you are handling bed rest pretty well as you still have a smile on your face. I hope you feel better soon and are keeping busy. thank God for internet.
By the way Aaron rocks, I could play sorry all day too. What a wonderful great-grandma you have to come and visit you from Germany. I bet it was wonderful having her there!
Fun times!
I did old lady water aerobics for about 4 months of my pregnancy. Seriously, most days the next youngest person in my class was in their 50s or 60s. But...it kept me active and was less impact than running, which I gave up at about 5 mos.
Fun to have Grandma around!
