That is fuuny. You know I use the word y'all alot in my writing even though I know I shouldn't. It is just a part of me. And I find it quaint, natural, and highly converstaional.
Terry, as hard as my parents tried to keep me from having a southern accent and using traditionally southern words, they failed. Being from California and Illinois, my parents were horrified that their children sounded like hicks! Of course, our accents aren't as bad as if our parents had also been Texans...which explains why my children can "talk Texan" with the best of them!
