Fun and Scary (Not both for one thing...)

So for the fun first. Have you seen the serious give away at Rocks In My Dryer? I'll write a haiku for a shot at $1000 any day! Give it a try - but it is today only, so we've got to think quickly!

Now for the scary. What did you think about the link my mom sent us yesterday? Did you watch it? After watching the first one, I didn't really want to watch the second one. It is so disturbing that those classes were real and those things were really taught in an actual school. I wonder if they are still using that training video? Obviously, going to a Christian school and then teaching in a Christian school, I never encountered anything like that. As if I needed another reason to homeschool...

I did watch the second video though. I realize I never said that.

Oh a $1000 would be so cool! Too bad I am so not creative.

And SUPER UGH on the videos. I watched both. I am speechless.

i'm no poet, and i know it.

i did watch both of them and it just makes me sick. this kind of stuff has really been creeping up a lot lately. actually, lawanda has a link to michelle malkin's website, which has a link to a really disturbing article. i hard a hard time recovering from it last night after i read it and then your mom sends me these videos this morning. i really want to pack up and move to the hills.

i was thinking that i bet your mom is glad you're homeschooling they boys, eh?

Oh, yeah. That made me sick to my stomach.

It really is scary to me that people don't know (or maybe don't care) that their kids are listening to this kind of stuff at school.

And if the godly children who go to school stand up for their beliefs, what will they get? LABELED: INTOLERANT or PREJUDICED or BIGOT

Even if all they do is express concern that the behavior of "Two Moms" is not normal or may be harmful in any way....

Oh yea, tolerance is alive and well in public school. (statement infused with severe sarcasm, in case it is not clear...)

Ok. Standing down now.. *blush*

LOL, you're pretty funny. But what you say is true. Hence, homeschooling for us.
