Turning a New Leaf

I wrote about Middle Eastern food on the other blog. Part of the reason I like it so much is because it's so healthy. Check out my lunch today: Hummus Chicken Salad, Tabbouleh, Avacado, Pita and Hummus healthy lunch. Wanna come over? I'll hook you up.

Okay, you are putting me to shame. First of all, I don't even know how to pronounce tabbouleh, much less know what it is. I think I remember seeing once a description - it is fermented - right? Just wait until you see what I had for lunch today.

it's bulgur wheat, purple onion, green onion, fresh parsley, lemon juice, olive oil, s&p to taste, tomato and cucumber. not fermented, but gets better every day it's in the fridge. if i really wanted to do it right i'd put fresh mint leaves in there, too, but i really want del to eat the tabbouleh so i leave it out. anxiously awaiting the lunch post.
